Chicago Part:2

Check out pictures of my Chicago trip! Chicago is a beautiful city and has a lot of great attractions. While I was in Chicago I was able to learn about the history of the Windy City. The midwest is far more interesting than I thought it would be..

Shout out to Platinum Studio for hooking me up with this design. It was my first design. I decided to do something different for Chicago. Although i was in Chicago i still wanted to bring a little New york flavor with me on my trip. so i stopped by my barber and asked him to make me different.

While on my trip I was able to take a boat ride around the city.the boat ride gave me the opportunity to learn a little about Chicago's history and archaeology.the boat ride also gave me the time to meet a few new people and engage in interesting conversations, which where mostly tourist like myself  The pictures above are views from the boat ride.

Above are pictures from Millineum Park. The fountain behind me was really cool... and gave out a pleasant misty breeze

Just a few pictures on streets of Chicago. If you never been to Chicago... It's like being in a mini Manhattan just alot cleaner .Like I said before, Chicago is rich in history ...check out the pictures below to see some of the amazing architecture.

Fun Facts:
Why is Chicago known as the Windy City?

Most people think that the Windy City refers to the high winds and cool weather Chicago is known for. However, the nickname the Windy City came from a snide remark from a New York based Journalist that was tired of hearing how beautiful and how facinating Chicago had become since the fire the great Chicago fire.So being called the Windy City is more of a snide remark than a favorable characteristic.

Why is Chicago known as the 2nd City?

Most people are unaware of that the City of Chicago today is know as the second city. The name came about after the Great Chicago fire after more than half of the city was burnt down by a fire that started in a barn. Chicago natives believe that the fire was the best thing that happend to the city because the city now has a great depth of culture and a ton of beautiful bulidings that were built to showcase the beauty of Chicago.

Chicago Part :1

This past weekend I traveled to the Windy City to celebrate my cousins nuptials. This was my first time visiting Chicago and I must say it is an amazing city that is rich in culture, food, and fun. I stayed at the Palmer House Hilton. It's a beautiful Hotel in the heart of downtown Chicago. The Palmer House Hilton is in a prime location beacuse it's close to all the major tourist attractions, resturants and big name stores. Check out the pictures below for a first look at the Palmer House Hilton.

The main lobby where you can socialize and have coctails .

The Palmer House is the epitiome of class so many people book this hotel for life changing events such as weddings and receptions.

Brooklyn Nets Vs Chicago Bulls

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY SPECIAL LADY!

My lady turned 26 today so I suprised her with VIP tickets to see the Nets vs. Chicago. This was her first time attending a basketball game so I wanted to make sure her first time was extra special. Happy to say that she loved every minute of her birthday and was smiling for ear to ear the entire time. Since this was our first time at the Barclays Arena.... we indulged in all of the food we could eat. Sadly, the Nets lost this game but on the upside we got a chance to enjoy some really good food.
